Public Notice - Peak Leaf Season

The Town of Boiling Springs experiences higher than average volumes of grass clippings, pine needles, limbs, and leaves during the months of October, November, December, and January and considers these months to be peak leaf season.  Due to heavy volumes of material, inclement weather, closings, or machinery malfunctions, we cannot guarantee weekly yard waste collection during these months.  While we make every effort to stay on schedule, please note that our trucks rotate continuously through Town and follow designated routes that are inevitably affected by these conditions.  We ask that you be patient with our Staff and know that we will eventually collect your yard waste as time and weather permit.

Additionally, please note that the Town collects yard waste resulting from routine residential yard maintenance including leaves, grass clippings, twigs, small limbs, trimmings, and small shrubs, all defined in Town Ordinances found online at https://www.boilingspringsnc.net/172/Code-of-Ordinances.  Land clearing or major maintenance requiring professional assistance shall be the responsibility of the homeowner and not the Town of Boiling Springs during the peak leaf season.

As a reminder, the Town has a Yard Waste Collection Guide that can be found online at https://www.boilingspringsnc.net/158/Garbage-Recycling.

Please contact Town Hall at (704) 434-2357 with any comments, concerns, or questions.
